Honduras Campuses

We work in rural communities across the Honduran Departments of Francisco Morazan and El Paraiso. Without Educate2Envision's program, the average walking distance to the nearest secondary school for most students is 4 hours roundtrip on steep mountain roads or near flood prone areas. The majority of families earn close to $5/day and the average education level for students' parents is 3rd grade. Over 80% of our students are the first in their communities to enroll in secondary school.

Rural communities face unique challenges when it comes to accessing education beyond 6th grade. Educate2Envision searches for those places that have largely been forgotten but that possess driven young leaders who are the key to lifting their communities out of poverty.

To reach these remote areas can be a challenging feat but we are committed to ensuring that where a student is born doesn't decide whether or not they achieve their goals.
